Who Am I?
I’m Shantanu Singh. For 27 years, I’ve built businesses in the trenches. Started as a maintenance engineer at BPL. Worked my way through sales roles at Nokia, Samsung, Huawei. Led business transformations at OPPO, Boult, Vida. I’ve navigated Indian corporate culture, Korean precision, Chinese speed, and European structure. Launched products that succeeded. And products that failed.
Built 200+ distributor networks across India. Turned around businesses that were bleeding cash. Coached founders through their first major scale-up. Now? I do this full-time. No corporate politics. No quarterly board pressures.
Just focused on helping startups and MSMEs get execution right.
I’m an engineer by training (BIT Ranchi), MBA from Amity, and currently pursuing Executive Presence Certification from ISB Hyderabad.
But honestly? My real education came from the field. From distributors who lied. Retailers who demanded the impossible. Teams that surprised me. And occasionally, from getting things spectacularly wrong.

My journey spans corporate market building, startup turnarounds, and independent advisory—turning hard-earned lessons into practical growth frameworks.
The Beginning
I began my career as a maintenance engineer at BPL in 1997. It didn’t take long to realise that a desk-bound role wasn’t for me. In 1999, I took a calculated risk and pursued an MBA — a decision that completely changed the direction of my life.
The Telecom Wave
After completing my MBA from Amity in 2001, I became part of India’s telecom boom, working with organisations like TCS, HCL/Nokia, Samsung, and Huawei. Over the years, I helped build 200+ distributor networks and learned a hard truth early on: execution beats strategy every single time.
The Startup Crucible
The COVID phase pushed me into the startup world with Dizo, Boult, and Vida. Here, theory met pressure. I delivered 115% month-on-month growth at Dizo and 170% year-on-year growth at Vida, while gaining deep exposure to backward integration, EMS, and OEM partnerships — experiences that completed my real business education.
Finding My Ikigai
Over time, I found clarity at the intersection of what I enjoy doing, what I’m good at, what the market needs, and what creates value. Independent advisory gave me the freedom to help many organisations instead of being limited to just one.
